 Just a list of my favorite authors of BG Chinese novels~


1. Southern Lychee


My favorite so far for dated fiction. Author of Back to the Sixties: Farm, Get Wealthy & Raise the Cubs, Rebirth to the Eighties to Get Rich. She has another ongoing novel (no translator yet) 宠婚蜜恋在八零 which is another 80s novel.


2. Grumpy Crab

My favorite for rebirth fluffy romance ^^ Author of Rebirth on the Doors to the Civil Affairs Bureau, My Husband With Scholar Syndrome (fave work of hers!),  Please Confess to Me and Pampering My Husband Every Day which I've read (all modern world). Other works which I haven't checked out yet: She is a Great Demon Hunter, The Witch, Small Medicine Packet, Believe It Or Not, I Already Caught You 


3. Light Clear Clouds (轻云淡)



My go-to for short low-key romance with OP female protagonist. Some of her works I've read: Limitless Survival Game (fave!), Apocalypse Lord (also this!) and Interstellar Pharmacist.


4. Sugar in Cat

For non-fixed CP male protagonist. So many arcs, so many chapters. You're bound to find something you like. Read Everyone Knows I’m a Good Man (my fave!), Good Man Operation Guide. Currently reading Scum Male’s Whitewashing Manual.

5. Jiong Jiong You Yao


My first exposure to Chinese novels. The faceslapping was so satisfying. I'll never forget Full Marks Hidden Marriage and Perfect Secret Love. although I've moved on from domineering male leads and OP modern day female leads now~ I see that other works of the author has also been picked up for translation: Escape from Marriage 100 Days, Lifetime of Bliss and Contentment With You, There Will Come a Day When You’ll Like Me. Haven't read it yet.
